SOFTCORIGAMI respects the privacy concerns of its users and visitors. This document describes the privacy and other policies of By accessing our website and services, you accept the terms of these policies. These policies are effective as of March 28, 2013, and were last updated on June 29, 2013.

Information We May Collect

As a general policy, no personal information is collected automatically from users and visitors on SOFTCORIGAMI. However, certain non-personal information about visitors to the site is recorded by the standard operation of our internet servers. This information is primarily used to provide an enhanced experience online for both visitors and registered users. Using this information, web pages and other content optimized for a specific visitor may be automatically made available to that visitor. Other use of this information may include internal review of the number of visitors to this site but only in the aggregate sense and in a non-personally-identifiable form.

LoginRadius and Registered Users
SOFTCORIGAMI uses a service called LoginRadius for comment- and user-login on our website. This service allows visitors to log in to post a comment or to register as a user on the site by using an existing OpenID/oAuth ID provider. This service is meant to provide convenience and security to the user. LoginRadius collects various personal user information in the form of profile data such as name, email address, city, etc. depending upon the ID Provider you log in with. When a user logs into LoginRadius, the selected ID Provider delivers the user profile data to us after the user’s consent. This data may be stored automatically by SOFTCORIGAMI for use in moderation of the website and its users. Use of this service is voluntary.

In general, you can browse our website anonymously and for free. However, to access certain services, you will be required to login through your existing OpenID/oAuth (as described above). When you login using LoginRadius, you enter your username and password on your ID Provider’s website, which is highly secured by that ID Provider. No one, including LoginRadius, can view or store your login credentials. The login information is then authenticated by your ID Provider (e.g. Facebook and Google), after which we allow you to access our service. We cannot and do not post on your behalf in any of the OpenID/oAuth ID Provider accounts you may use.

SOFTCORIGAMI does not own or control any of the OpenID/oAuth ID Providers used by LoginRadius. We assume no responsibility for the content, practices, or policies of these ID Providers. We cannot and will not censor or edit the content of any provider. By using our site, you relieve SOFTCORIGAMI of any and all liability that arises from your use of any OpenID/oAuthentication. We are also not responsible for the service of any OpenId/oAuth ID Provider or the termination of that service.

SOFTCORIGAMIs retains all rights to your user contents that are collected either by SOFTCORIGAMI or by LoginRadius on SOFTCORIGAMI’s behalf. We urge users to remember that use of our services is voluntary. We are solely responsible for these user contents and their publication or posting (or the prevention thereof), except as reasonably permissible by law. LoginRadius is granted non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free rights to these user contents and is allowed to modify, analyze, distribute, or use them in connection with operation of their login service; as of this writing, their policies dictate that they will not sell or share any original user profile data to a third party. While SOFTCORIGAMI retains final rights to your user contents provided to us voluntarily, we respect the rights of our users. If you wish us to erase or cease use of any or all of your user content under our control, we will make every reasonable effort to do so. Feel free to contact us via our website.
